NEW YORK - Paul Potts can consider himself a true recording success: He topped the charts in several countries with the release of his debut CD, which followed his rags-to-riches triumph after winning "Britain's Got Talent" in 2007.
But the 38-year-old former phone company worker still has the wonder of a newcomer when it comes to the world of music stardom. He admits that he's still getting used to being stopped on the street, and likens a recording studio to a "spaceship."
Now on his second CD, "Passione," which was released this month, Potts talked recently about his goals, why singing sometimes wears him out, and his advice for this year's "Britain's Got Talent" sensation, Susan Boyle.
