Paul Potts' new album on Springtime
Dear Paul Potts fans.
A few days ago, Paul wrote a special personal message to all Paul Potts Fans on the "Paul Potts MySpace Family" web page.
In his wonderful message he talks about his succes in germany and about a new studio album that we will enjoy in springtime.
Here's Paul's words. Enjoy.
"First of all, I'd like to thank you all for your continued love and support. Julz and I truly appreciate it. We couldn't find a stronger bond of friendship other than here, so THANK YOU!
The reaction in Central Europe since the use of my first audition in the T mobile advert has been massive. I have been told that sales in Germany alone have risen close to 600,000 and they are aiming for sales of 1,000,000 by Christmas. I'm sure you'll agree that this is an awesome figure.
This success, bearing in mind that I had worked quite hard last year in Germany with more modest success, was unexpected. We expected a reaction, but never as strong as it has been. As a result, I am touring in Germany, Austria and Switzerland right up to the middle of November, and I have been told that ticket sales are going VERY well.
I recently had a meeting with the man himself, Mr. Simon Cowell. He has told me that he is very happy indeed with the progress that I have made, and that he is 150% behind me, wants the best for me, and wants to ensure that we get the best results and make the best of the opportunity that we have with One Chance.
As a result, bearing in mind that the work on One Chance is ongoing until at least the middle of November (and there are plans for me to keep working on One Chance in Central Europe in December also), Simon and the record company feel that we would not be able to give the Christmas album the level of support it would need to do it true justice. We want it (Sony and I) to be the best it can be and to be promoted as well as it deserves. For that reason, we have decided to postpone the release of the Christmas album, and therefore the next studio album will be next Spring. Many of the songs/arias that I received from Larry have been forwarded to Simon for the next album, which I hope will be a great success.
I hope that you understand our reasons, but we really need to get the best out of One Chance. One Chance has done better than I could ever have dreamed, and I'd like to thank you all again for your love and support. I'd also like to thank Larry for his sterling work, and Jackie, his wife, for her patience with him for spending all the time he does on my and your behalf.
Love
Paul x

Re: Paul Potts' new album on Springtime
At last some wonderful news. I keep one´s fingers crossed and hope that "love story" will be one of the songs on the new album.
